Archer A7 with two Onemesh access points. I'd like to replace it with a router that supports OpenVPN and OneMesh.

Not familiar with that router, but when you configure Network/Internet if it let's you select L2TP then the answer is yes.

FYI - I got it to work. Three black wires, one to the fixture went to hot, the other two went to the traveler screws. White to the bundle of whites in the back of the box.
