@TannD You didn't say what you see so I don't know the options that you do not see? You should go to ADVANCED tab, then WIRELESS and on both Version and Encryption and change AUTO to WPA2-PSK and AES.

@DW3 I wouldn't think so? Don't expect it too either. Suspect if you check the log, you'll find it did try though. Why do you ask? Are you seeing some 'phantom' devices assigned IP Addresses?
