I connected the wires that I used to have connected to a Ring doorbell to my new Tapo Doorbell. Going through the setup process, it will NOT create a wifi network "Tapo_Doorbell_xxxx". I've tried reseting the doorbell multiple times. I've tried disconnecting the 2 wires and reconnecting them multiple times. I've searched the Tapo support site and nothing. Any help would be appreciated! Otherwise I will have to send back, unfortunately!

  @JeffGilly,

Typically, your Tapo app will be able to connect to the network automatically, without you needing to manually make the change. Can you confirm that the Doorbell is receiving power and that the LED indicator is lit?

Thank you for responding! It's working now! Woohoo! Originally I didn't do the jumper on the existing doorbell chime, also i didnt plug in the new Tapo chime. After doing those 2 things, i was able to connect to my wifi. I just thought i could plug in the new chime later like my Ring camera and chime. Thank you...the video helped alot!
