I'm trying to install a HS200 to replace the light switch in an existing config that has a light switch and a fan switch. All I'm concerned about is controlling the light. When I power the circuit up after installation, all I see is the round indicator light that flashes orange/green. THERE IS NO WIFI that lights up. Curiously, I do see a device when I attempt to use the app, but it never connects. 

I read somewhere that the HS200 requires separate lead and load and I think that is my problem. I noticed that there is a jumper(?) that goes from the light switch to the fan switch so I think that the lead and load are not separated. Does that make sense? I am not an electrician and didn't take know much about wiring.
