I've read multiple threads on this issue, but haven't seen much in the way of solutions.  
 

Replaced simple three-way switch with HS 210 in a box with a white neutral wire.   As soon as I turn the breaker back on, the light flashes on and off. If I flip the dumb switch, it turns off.   
 

I've double checked the wiring and the connections.   In the meantime, I put the old simple switch back in and it works fine.
