Trying to formata 512GB SD card & get error & message "This micro sd card seems to have an abnormal expansion capacity." I'm currently testing the card with H2testw & so far, no problem. Anyone know if this unit has a problem with some 512GB SD cards?

@kev42 I've run into this error in the past. Just play with the settings a bit, turn off the recording, restart the camera, try formatting again, then re-enable recording.

Doesn't inspire confidence. I had the camera running inside & was able to format the card, but when I hooked it up outside, got voice message that the SD card was not formatted. Selected format & soon got message, there is a problem with the SD card???

@kev42 I believe your SD card is fine. Even with my indoor Tapo cameras, maybe once every month or two I'll get an error that the cards are not initialized and need to reformat...and they've been recording 24x7 all along.

@kev42   Maybe you can check the model number and format of your SD card, and check if it's suitable for working with security cameras, some SD card warranty page will say the warranty does not cover when the SD card work with cameras.
