Hey @Isaac-Roberson,

The red and green flashing lights are simply an indicator that the camera is in setup mode. You will need to connect the camera to the Kasa App with your TP-Link ID to configure the camera's settings and SD card, such as the quality and night vision preferences.

If your Kasa camera is flashing red and green lights, it typically indicates that the camera is in the process of recording or performing a specific function. Here are a few possible scenarios:

  1. Recording: The red and green flashing lights on your Kasa camera may indicate that it is actively recording a video or capturing footage. This is a common behavior for many security cameras to indicate that they are in recording mode.

  2. Power or connectivity issue: In some cases, the red and green flashing lights may indicate a power or connectivity issue with the camera. It's possible that the camera is not properly connected to the network or experiencing a problem with its power source. Try checking the camera's power supply, network connection, and ensuring that it is properly set up and configured.

  3. Firmware update: Another possibility is that the camera is undergoing a firmware update. During a firmware update, the camera's lights may flash in different patterns or colors, including red and green. This typically happens automatically as the camera updates its software to the latest version.
