Firmware Version: 1.3.2 Build 221208

Help! The playback feature in the Tapo app has stopped working for my C110 camera. In March, it worked fine. Now, the time for the time selector is 1 hour behind the real time which is shown on the video image. Also, I can't choose what times to review with the selector. For instance, if I try to watch something that happened an hour ago, the selector will jump and possibly show what happened 3 hours ago. Basically, this camera is only good for live view now and watching detected motion clips when I have those turned on. I'm using a micro SD card for storage. I have unplugged and rebooted the camera and my router. I also deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing helped.

Hey  @In2ition,

Our team has just given me a beta version of the Tapo app for Andorid that should fix this behavior and will roll out officially in the coming updates. You can find the APK to manually install the Beta Version Here: https://static.tp-link.com/upload/beta/2023/202305/20230504/tapo_trial_2.15.512(412)_20230504143937_release.apk

 

If the behavior persists after installing the beta version, please create an app log by tapping or holding the Tapo button at the bottom of the about screen.

  @In2ition,

If the delay is only an hour off, I would make sure to go and doublecheck any of the time settings that you have in your Tapo App for the camera. If you had changed Daylight Savings, this may also be the reason why it was working fine before.

 

 

Normally, when behaviors like this arise, reinstalling the app while deleting the documents and data is the fix, however since you have already tried that: Is there another device or phone that you can try to use? This way we can see if the behavior may be limited to your specific phone, or the camera itself.
