There are actually a few ways of moving devices from home to home without uninstalling

From the main screen, hit manage home in the upper left hand corner

Tap on the Home that you would like to move device to,

select the room in the target home where the device is located,

select 'Add Devices' - This should have all your devices listed.

OR

From the Main Screen,

Tap and Hold on a Device,

A Popup for 'Favorite' or 'Relocate' should appear, tap 'Relocate'

You can change the home in the dropdown at the top of the screen

As a tip: Device Groups do not have to be in the same home as the devices controlled by the group.
