Hello@Octave

KH300/KH310 is a smart hub that connects and manages all Kasa Wire-Free Cameras through the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. Thus, for the best experience, we need to place the cameras within the wireless coverage of the hub, which should be no more than 100 feet apart from the hub.

However, the distance will vary due to obstacles (walls, furniture, etc) and Wi-Fi interference. In this case, it’s recommended to place the camera closer to the hub or change to a location with less interference.

Hope this helps!
