Motion sense dimmer schedules all use the same brightness
I tried to set up 3 different schedules each with their own brightness but they all use the same brightness (the last value I selected). Is this a bug or am I doing it wrong? And is there a way to change the fade rate for each schedule? That would be useful.

Hello @Don.M
You are able to select a Preset brightness for dimmer when set schedule as UG here, and light should turn as the brightness you set up.

Please confirm kasa device firmware and Kasa APP are both up to date.
Remove other schedule settings, only keep one schedule for each motion sensor dimmer while test.
For your concern, man I have a photo of the schedule settings on 2 of the KS220M, and a photo of the preset settings?
The Kasa APP version/ Andriod or IOS,

I did not use the correct name for the feature I have a problem with. My problem is with the Smart Control (not with Schedules). However, your comments have been helpful. The UG makes it appear that I am able to choose any brightness but instead it looks like it uses the next higher preset.
I changed the presets from 100-75-50-25 to 100-50-25-2 and now I have two time periods set in Smart Control and they have separate brightness values. It would be an improvement (if the presets are the only value it works with) to make the user choose a preset instead of moving a slider. I do think selecting any value is better; not forcing the value to be a preset value.
This leaves me with more questions. Do you know which preset will be chosen if, for example, I set a time period to use 30%? will it go up to 50% or down to 25%? What happens if there are times of the day not defined in Smart Control? Does the motion sensor not function then?
Answering your questions - yes, my firmware and app are the latest versions (HW 1.0, FW 1.0.8, App 2.35.2, Android version 11). I have only one KS220M. Here are some screen shots.

Hello @Don.M
Sorry for the late reply, to answer some of your questions
1. In Smart Control→ Brightness, you are able to set up brightness values, and light will turn on at the Brightness value as you set.e.g if you set 25%, it will turn on with brightness 25% FAQ3154: How To Configure the Motion Sensor Feature on the KS220M Smart Switch
2. ' What happens if there are times of the day not defined in Smart Control? Does the motion sensor not function then?'
As far as I know if you do not set up 'Smart Control' the motion sensor is deactivated by default. Thus to let smart switch detect the motion, we need set up smart control rules on the app.
