replacing non-smart switch for HS220 for exterior outlet GFCI protected

Current non-smart swtich works fine - just not intelligent :)

Identified line and load

labeled when uninstalling previous

Connected all for in new HS220

Line

Load

Ground

Neutral - added to a previous combination of 2 wires - NOW 3 total with HS220 neutral

Turned breaker on

lights went on, then...

GFCI trips, lights off

cant reset gfci... outlet dead

for now...

disconnected all HS220 connections

reconnected previous dumb switch

able to reset GFCI, all lights working as before

How to I connect HS220 to GFCI outlet w/o tripping it?
