I just installed the HS220 dimmer and successfully discovered the switch in the Kasa app. However, the Cooper (HALO) LED lights don't respond to the switch (or the app).
The specific HALO model is HLA406FL9FS1EMWR
Is this model compatible with this dimmer switch?

To check if a bulb is compatible, we have a guide here. you may need to contact bulb support to confirm the type of dimming the bulb is using as I could not find that information online. Normally if the bulb does not turn on at all, it could be some issue with the wiring, i suggested following the video here to examine the wiring of HS220 step by step.

You could identify the Load and Line wire on HS220 using a voltage test pencil.
• WHITE wire on switch to NEUTRAL wire( normally a bundle of wires)
• Two Screws on the right side of the switch:
LOAD screw (Red Screw) must be connected to LOAD wire
LIVE screw (Black Screw) must be connected to LIVE/LINE wire
• GREEN wire on switch to green/bare copper GROUND wire.
