Hello everyone.

I'm having some issues wiring in two HS210 switches in a 3 way setup. 1 at the top of my basement stairs and one at the bottom.  The switches control about 8 sets of fluorescent lights in case that matters.

Here's my setup:

2 switches

Both switches look identical on the inside:

Bare copper ground wired directly to swtich

White Neutrals connected with a wire nut in back of box

1 red traveler connected to switch

1 black traveler connected to switch

1 black live wire connected to switch

When I wire the switches in following the directions, here's what happens:

The switch will continuously "click" and the lights will turn on and off about every second

I've also tried doing just one HS210 in each location and things change a little bit.  If I do this, when my dumb switch is on, the HS210 gets no lights on the switch and does nothing when I press it.  When I turn my dumb switch off, the HS210 will then again start clicking and turning lights on and off.

Any help anyone can offer would be very helpful.  Thank you!

@CtrlAltDave Did you add the white wire from theHS210 to the neutrals, or did you remove one of the neutrals and connect it to the white wire on the HS210?

@B.Will I added the white wire from the HS210 to the other neutrals in the box.
