Or can it just turn a bulb/lamp on and off, and that's it? Trying to figure out if I also need to buy a smart bulb for my lamp. Thank you.
The HS300 will provide power or cut power to the connected device, similar to literally pulling the plug from the socket.
If you want to control the brightness of a light bulb, you would use a smart bulb for that.
So you would not need both, only a smart bulb.
