Trying to set up smart Plug Switch. When I try to connect to home WiFi, app message says pw must be 8 characters. Is there a way to override that? Or do I have to change WiFi pw ( which I do not want to do)

If your wireless security is set to WEP you may need to extend the wireless password. If you are running WPA or WPA2 those require a minimum of 8 characters.
