The LB230 is End of Life so it is not being manufactured anymore.

Doesn't look like it, for now we just have the smart bulbs and the light strip.

That's a huge dissapointment. I feel like I've waisted my investment into Kasa products after reading this. Most of the lights in my home are can lights and the format of the bulb is a spots like (LB230). Regular bulbs would look horrible. I am still trying to bring all of my bulbs up to smart bulbs from incandescant bulbs. I want all of my lights to be the same brand so I have one app and not 10 apps. If this is true and the LB230 is gone I am going to have to find a new brand of smart lights/switches/outlets,etc to work with. So all of my invenstment into KASA thus far will become obsolete and a huge waste of my money. Huge dissapointment TP-Link. If the LB230 does not come back I will NEVER by a TP-Link product again, nor will I recommend TP-Link products. 

That was my fear when I saw that only a few online store were stocking it - Im glad asked the question.

This is a real problem in this space because light bulbs (a product that should last 10 years+) now become obsolete, and with major comanies like tplink discontinuing devices without a direct replacement this causes homeowners tremendous problems long term

@Shurka179 For what it's worth, I've gone with the Philips Wiz bulbs - (the forum wont let me post an extrenal link - Google 'homedepot Philips Color and Tunable White BR30 LED 65 Watt')

They are excellent on all colors exccept Orange for some reason. They of course don't help you with your Kasa eccosystem problem, but if using controls from outside the Kasa app (Alexa etc.) this may be a good solution for you. 

I don't expect Philips to discontinue a line without warning or replacement either, which is a plus

This is also making me re-think my tp-link strategy. If they are discontinuing without a replacement I worry about long term support.

I was just about to make a feature request for the LB230 to have a color cycling option, but after reading this forum thread, and finding out they're discontinuing this bulb, it doesn't seem like it would make much sense.
