KASA app can't add any device, app keeps saying to connect iPhone to Wifi network
I installed additional HS2010 Smart Switch and when I try to add to the Kasa App, it keeps saying "Please connect your iPhone to your Wi-fi network to continue setup". I have added multiple smart Kasa devices before with no problems at all, for some reason this screen (see attached) keeps showing when I add a device.
I have double, tripple checked and even turned off my cellular network just to be sure I am connected to wifi. It still keeps giving me the promt. Even if I select any other smart device to add. I have restarted the app as well. Still the same issue when I try to add a device.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

During the setup process you connect to the Smart Products default network. Once the devices has been linked to your home network the phone may need to be reconnect to your home network as well. Nothing to worry about as it is normal. Just go to settings on your phone connect back to your main network and then go back to the Kasa App to complete the setup.

I'm having exactly the same issue here. It doesn't matter if my ipad or iphone is connected to my home network or my new smart plug TP-Link WiFi Network, the app will not proceed. It says "Pleae connect your iPad to your Wi-Fi network to continue setup".
Could it be because the current Kasa app is not compatibel with the new iOS 13?

@SmartPlugOwner I'm having the same issue. I changed Wi-Fi network name at home causing my smart plug to disconnect, but I'm unable to set it up again with the same "please connect your iPhone to your Wi-Fi network to continue setup" message. I tried both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz home networks to be sure.

Found a fix.. after waiting for a few days thinking that an update is coming that could solve the issue, I decided to restart my mobile device.
After it restarted, the Kasa app was able to proceed in adding the new switch! Try it out and see if it works for you as well.
