Just installed my Kasa smartswitch. Very easy. Lights come on, but won’t turn off.   Is it possible I have my wires mixed up?

I tried resetting the switch. Everything set up fine. I tried toggling to off, lights still on

@JayTW

How many wires did you have coming from your outlet? What did you wire them to?

HS210 Just installed. Switch will turn on pushing on once but will only turn off if app is pushed twice. I tried calling TP support but can not get any one to answer. Any ideas?

@JayTW ours did the same thing. Did you ever figure out how to make it work? We've tried everything we can think of.

My smart actions just started failing today. I had the HS200 switch set to toggle both plugs on 2 of my KP200 smart outlets, and now pressing the switch does nothing. I can still toggle the button with the app, so I know it's connected, I can toggle the group with the app, so I know the outlets are both connected. But toggling the switch itself or through the app and the outlets don't change. Did something change in the app that I might have missed?

@JayTW I had this issue this morning and resolved it after much effort.  Steps to fix, 1. used Kasa app to update firmware.  After that, I could control the switch from Kasa app, but not Alexa.  2. Had to disconnect and reconnect Kasa skill in Alexa.  3. Also had to turn on Remote control in Kasa app for Alexa to add the device. Maybe just doing 3 wouldn't needed 2.
