Hey Guys.. I search this forum and the net with no "official" info. Was wondering if there was any API documentation/examples on how to connect to the HS100 smart plugs. I was looking to connect and be able to turn on/off the individual plugs with a script. Not using the App..I found some Github sites, but thought i would ask on the official TP-Link forum before trying them..Thanks for your help!

hey, tplink has no plan to open API for 3rd party partners so far as I consulted the same issue before. If you found some info on Github, you may try that.

JimmyBB,
How did using the GitHub software work to switch the HS100 for you.

I just tried it here and the command appeared to go through, but did not affect the on/off state of the HS100?

@JimmyBB

It's unoffical but this should meet your needs.  Easy to use RESTful API:

Any update on this? I was surprised when someone posted that TP-Link isn't opening their API to 3rd parties - they've done just that with IFTTT so the quesiton is how do we get into that game?
