2FA emails not arriving to proton mail email from Kasa app
Hi all -
Has anyone had any experience with the 2FA emails not arriving from the Kasa app (in my case to proton mail). They are getting pushed to the Kasa app correctly. However, I'm trying to turn the 2FA off, which requires the 2FA go to the email account itself (of course). But without receiving the email, I have no way to turn it off, which I want to do because I'm not receiving them in the first place so it completely renders 2FA useless (actually worse than that - see my next point)
By extensino I also now have the problem of not being able to log out of the account in the Kasa app. The first time I set everythign up, the activation e-mail did come through, so i had no problems loggin in and establishing the account. But now if I log out and want to log back in, I'll be required to receive a 2FA email. Which i won't. Which will effectively lock me out of my Kasa account.
Reached out to tech support, and got a GenAI response, which was exactly as expected: useless and not directly addressing the issue (can we for a moment assume that it's not the user who is stupid? That would be a heresy, I know. But thanks for the irrelevant link to you FAQ.)
Anyone has any ideas?
