TP LINK Smart Plug requesting WiFi password
I use my Kasa mini plug in my dorm room and bring it home over long breaks, but I have never had any issues reconnecting until today. When trying to connect to the TP LINK WiFi, I was prompted to input a password, something that has never happened to me before. Keep in mind this is when trying ro pair with the device, not when trying to connect to the home internet. I attempted to input various possible passwords including my home wifi password, dorm wifi password, my Kasa login, etc. I'm not sure how to go about solving this problem. I tried to reset my device by holding the power button for 10 seconds but the was no change. I am about to shut my phone off and see if it might be an issue there, otherwise I'm not sure what to do.
