Can a kasa bulb kl125p4 be initialized with a lamp that has a 3 way switch, i.e off, medium and bright?
If not can i initizlize in another two way swtich lamp and move it back to 3 way switch lamp.
If the lamp can switch on and off quickly, you can reset the bulb or try using the physical power plug if it is a simple lamp. If you have a smart plug laying around, this may make it much easier.
Otherwise, I would highly recommend moving the bulb to a fixture or lamp where it can easily be reset by turning it off and on quickly. Once the device is configured, wait for any firmware updates to complete, and then you can freely move the device to another location within range of your Wi-Fi. (Aim for the same general mesh node/location if you are using a mesh network)
Personally, I have a desk lamp that I will bring around with me when I need to reset a few smart bulbs.
