The external chime has just stopped working. It was installed in October. I did the recommended checks in the app but it still does not work. All appears OK/normal. Any ideas will be appreciated.

please disable Disturb Mode for KD110, then try to press the Music button on the chime will chime ring when you manually press it?

here are some tips for troubleshooting 

Q.What should I do if wireless Chime does not ring when pressing the doorbell?

Yes. The chime rings when I press the music button. This is true regardless of the setting of the Do Not Disturb slider.

 

None of the FAQ's address the problem.

 

The chime does work correctly, but only from about 5 feet away. It originally worked fine from 25 feet and through the outside wall. After it stopped working, I started testing it at different distances. It only works now when it is inside the house opposite the outside wall where the button is located....about  5 feet from chime through wall to button.

  @BTBIII Appreciated for the case details!

May I know did you try to put the Chime close to the Button/Doorbell and repair the Chime as the above FAQ:

Press the sync button on KD110C for 3 seconds until the system LED blinks green to enter pairing mode.

Kasa APP> tap button image-20220507193101-2 20220507113847k in the right top> Device settings > Chime Paring.
