Kasa Smart Scenes & Smart Actions have stopped working since Kasa Smart update to v3.0.0 (iOS)
Kasa Smart Scenes & Smart Actions have stopped working since Kasa Smart update to v3.0.0 (iOS)
After Kasa Smart app was updated in the Apple App store to v3.0.0, all Scenes and Smart Actions have stopped working. Note that all devices (smart bulbs, smart plugs, cameras) can still be controlled (switch ON/OFF etc.). When you select any Scene, the message "Network is unstable. Please try again later." appears after a few seconds.
As I mentioned before this happened immediately after the update to v3.0.0. Everything was working fine in my home for years with Kasa.This happens both from my iPhone (running iOS 16.0.2) as well as my iPad Pro (running iPadOS 15.7). Please advise!

same problem with android app. Individual smart plugs work. smart scenes fail with "unstable network" message.

@Lozboz Same here... most of my devices now appear offline, although the Watt app on my computer can still see and control eveything. unfortunately there are no scenes en Watt, so I have to do everything manually.
Extremely dissapointed with the "Upgraded" app.
Hopefully we'll see a fix sooner rather than later. If you find a solution please post it.

@npapanik Nothing has been resolved for my system.
I have 62 Kasa smart devices between cameras, switches, dimmers, plugs, and power strips.
Since 3.0.0 came out most of the devices seem to be offline on the app.
I've logged out, deleted and reinstalled the app, updated to 3.0.3 and the problems persist.
This is not a network issue as I can still turn lights on and off through the Watt app on my computer.
Nothing changed in my system except the updated app.

@npapanik Support for motion sensors and open/close sensors that only work with the SR20 router have also been stripped from the app it seems. Posted a diatribe on someone else's thread under Feature Requests I believe.

@npapanik
Nov. 15th and the app is still broken - over 44 items connected and no usage of scenes kills the entire network. "Scene Failed" and a list of plus that failed with it. All can be addressed individually but there is no reason that a system in place for years suddenly becomes obsolete with no intentions of revising. It's very frustrating that this has been a persistant issue and no solution has been forwarded. Waiting for an update to fix all this, what a drag..to say the least. Unfortunately, letting more weeks go by pursuades us to switch systems completely. Lets fix this..
