KL420L5 Light Strip on Dimmer Switch?

I have Insteon dimmer switches installed for my current under counter lights. They are 120volt bulbs (halogen).

I have some KL420L5 light strips ordered to replace the current lights under our counters.

Can I use the dimmer switches that are currently installed? Or do these new LED strips need constant power to their power module.

My plan is to plug in the power supply that comes with the KL420L5's into the outlets controled by my currrent dimmers.

Hello @Athlon646464

thank you for asking. KL420L5 should use its own power adapter. As smart light strip itself supports Dimming feature, we could dim the light strip on the APP directly, another dimmer is not required. Kindly note that another dimmer may conflict with the light strip dimmer, so the best is to plug the power strip into a power socket to use it.
