Kasa Cameras no longer record sound
Have multiple camera models (kc200 / kc100) in different locations. They have all stopped recording sound recently.
Yes, they are set to record video and sound in the settings. The setting has been unchanged from when they were working about a month ago.
Been having some issues with Kasa hardware recently. For instance, smart actions are no longer working either.

Shut off your phone, then turn it back on. My Kasa app wasn't giving sound either on recorded or live video, after shutting it off and turning back on brought the audio back.

Thanks for the reply. Tried shutting down the phone but still no sound.
I don't have trouble hearing the live sound, but there is no sound on the recordings.
There same issue happens on my tablet as well. So it's not limited to one device.

@AlbertoB I have the exact same issue. Have tried restarting phone and I-pad several times with no luck. Has been working fine and now nothing. Settings are set to record video and sound.

Other users reported their smart actions are working on their plugs and switches, how are the cameras working now?

I have the exact same issue - as of today - maybe within the past 5 days, recordings no longer have sound. Live still has sound, but not recordings. What can we do?@AlbertoB

I just noticed I cannot hear audio on any of my Kasa cam recordings just recently on any of my iOs devices....however my android app is working fine and I can hear it there.
Hopefully there is a fix soon for this...I've tried restarting the ipads and iphones but that doesn't help.
UPDATE: My older iPad is playing audio! I'll bet it has something to do with iOs upgrade to 14. Maybe theres a permission that needs to be granted somewhere...
