LB120 won’t turn off via app
Recently installed an LB 120 in my hallway and I can control the light color and dim but the power on/off doesn’t seem to work. Whenever I use the app to turn off the light it just goes back to its default state (warm light 100%). Anyone know how to fix this?

@Gabs The app may not have installed correctly. Have you tired re-installing the Kasa app, and signed back in with your TP-Link ID account? If you still have the issue, are you able to test on another smart phone to see if you have the same issue?

Yes, I tried reinstalling the app on my iPhone and also tried running the app on an android but I keep getting the same problem

@Gabs There are two places in the Kasa app that you can use to turn the bulb on or off shown below. Do neither work?
One thing that was not mentioned in the previuos post, have you factory defaulted the bulb? (Turning the power switch to the bulb off and on five times, then install the bulb back into the app.)

Yes, I’ve factory reset the bulb three times already. And both ways of turning the light off don’t work

@Gabs, I am a user, not a tech support person.
Have you checked the default states of the bulb in the settings?

thanks for the reply. You might have a point. The default setting is last “on” state but when I turn off the light via the app, the light goes to 100% warm light. The last on state for mine was 100% white light.
So I still can’t get the light to turn off or the dim to work.
