can firmware upgrade from WPA2 (TKIP) to WPA2 (AES) or WPA3 ? is it on the product roadmap ?
I just installed iOS 14.0 and now I'm getting a weak security notice on my Apple devices:
"WPA/WPA2 (TPIK) is not considered secure. If this is your Wi-Fi network, configure the router to use WPA2 (AES) or WPA3 security type."
Can this be addressed with a firmware upgrade? If so, is it on the product roadmap?
Many thanks.

Log into your router, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings > For both 2.4G and 5G select WPA2-PSK and AES, then hit save. That should get rid of the notification.

Thank you. That change got rid of the "weak security" notification on both channels.
The 2.4 ghz channel looks good now - no notifications at all.
However, the 5 ghz channel is now showing a "Privacy Warning" notification that says:
"This network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic. The names of websites and other servers your device accesses on this network may be monitored and recorded by other devices on this network."
I checked the setup of both again and confirmed that I made only the changes you directed. Odd that it's only on the 5 ghz band and not both. What do you think is causing this?

I'm wondering if that could be a byproduct of utilizing AES. The 5G and 2.4G reference the same router so to get that on the 5G and not 2.4G does not make sense. I would probably look up the software being used to see if others have seen that message and clues that could come from it.

Thanks Tony. Well what do you know...after restarting the modem a couple of times over the last few days appears to have fixed the problem. I'm not getting messages on my iPhone anymore. Go figure. Thank you for your assistance.

I have this same problem, but I do not seem to have the options you present. I am using the latest Deco app (Version 2.2.2) for my M5 3-node mesh. I just downloaded the app about ten minutes ago. Under advanced, I have Fast Roamong, beamforming, LED Control, Operating Mode, Connection Alerts, and Notifications. Am I looking in the wrong place?

You have a Deco, not an Archer router. The AES option for Deco is seen by tapping the password on the wireless menu.

Please can someone help.
I have a Archer C60 Ver - 2.0.0 Build 20161206 rel.60287.
I have an iPhone 11 and get the "Weak Security" Notification.
Please advise how to setup?
Note: Im not in IT and require step by step instructions.
Thanx

@WilliamWallace tp-link archer ax50
I followed Tony's instructions to switch to AES and after restarting the modem and router a few times, the message dissapeared.
