I have Kasa TP-Link bulbs and switches in all my lights.  I just changed from Cox internet to Metronet fiber optic.  I reset all the bulbs switching them on and off 10 times.  The light bulbs did not flash at all.  I had a bulb that had never been connected to the internet and I put that bulb in.  The light just stared flashing on and off.  Nothing I did made any of the bulbs connect to my new internet.  what do I need to do to reconnect these light bulbs?

Hey @mshens,

If your bulbs did not blink after the reset attempt, then the bulb did not reset.

There is a slight delay that must be given in between switches to allow the device to power on before being switched off again - so it may take a few attempts.

If the device is attached to a fixture with its own control, you may try using the fixtures power shutoff as it is typically more sudden than the shutoff over your wiring.

Once the device is reset, either with a hard or a soft reset, you will be able to re-add the devices in the Kasa App for your new network. (Soft Reset(5x) = Network Settings Only, Hard Reset(10x)= Factory Defaults)

Lastly, I would recommend possibly reinstalling the Kasa App if it appears that your phone is having difficulty seeing a device on the network that has been reset or is indicating that it is ready for setup. It is possible that there is a missing permission (such as Local Device Discovery) that may be preventing the device from being seen.
