KC200 Clip Unavailable
KC200 Clip Unavailable
I have 5 KC200 cams that have been recording just fine on my mesh network wifi. But the past 3 days now they have not uploading! I get an X on the clip with the message "Clip Unavailable This clip can't be played because something went wrong while uploading from your Kasa Cam." First it was just a few clips, but it seems to keep getting worse. The last clip that successfully uploaded was about 3 hours ago with 19 new notifications since then but all have an X on them!
I have tried rebooting my mesh wifi system (which shows great speed), I have rebooted cams by unplugging them for awhile. I really don't want to reset and reinstall all of them if it won't help (haven't tried it yet).
Is anyone else having this problem?
Thanks!

I logged into my TP-Link app on an old iPhone 5 phone and see the same results. I normally use an iPhone 6s and an iPad Pro 12.9". My wireless network is a NetGear Orbi mesh system (RBR40/RBS40/RBW30's) with fast speeds (107.62mbps download/10.86mbps upload/8.0 Ping)
Most clips are OK right now, the last one that has an X on it was yesterday at 8:19 A.M. If the problem gets bad again I will try resetting cams.
Thanks for your time.

Would it be possible to enable the guest network of the Orbi, and named something different. Only have one wireless band available such as the 2.4GHz?
The KC200 is capable of connecitng to either, but I am wondering if it may be jumping back and forth.

@Tony Just an update. I have been reading on how to make my guest network 2.4ghz only but haven't been able to figure out a way yet. I found one hack that says it causes the guest network to be seen as two networks (2.4ghz and 5GHz) but I'm leary to try it. ?
But the problem of clips being unavailable has almost quit for now. I occasionally get a clip that I can't recover but most times if an X appears I swipe the app closed, restart and the clips are available!
I do think that my cams jump from 2.4ghz to 5GHz sometimes. I'll keep trying to get a 2.4ghz only network up and running. And will advise if I'm successful.
Thanks!
