Tapo C310 image distortion
Hello there.
I have 4 Tapo C310 cameras and all of them have the same problem. Setting video quality to 2k causes color distortions to images, while setting it to 1080p appears to be fine:
It has been like this for months. Technical support says "Images look fine" (literal response from them), which is really unprofessional and disappointing. Images are clearly NOT fine. Any suggestions?

The official Tapo app version 2.17.112 and newer versions have solved the problem, please update the Tapo app to the latest one if you encounter the same issue.

Problem Description:
The Live View page of the Tapo Cam may have a green stripe at the top of the screen when watching the camera on the Tapo app.
This Article Applies to:
Tapo app with version 2.15.516, 2.16.112, etc.
Solution:
1. On the Tapo app, click on the Tapo Cam and go to the Camera Settings>Advanced Settings>Display Settings, and then select the Compatible Mode and check if the problem solves.
2. We have a beta Tapo app that may solve the issue. Please provide the Live View page of the Tapo cam to support.forum@tp-link.com with the email tile 'Forum ID 614638+ Cam model + the Live View page has a green stripe at the top of the screen' if you'd like to try the beta Tapo app, and then our support will continue to help with your case.

Glad to hear that your problem is solved~
The beta Tapo app you have tried may not be the one for this issue, and if changing to Compatible mode on the Tapo app works for your case, you can keep the settings.
