Migrate local controller to OC200 - version difference
I must be doing something wrong, lets hope someone can point me in the correct direction.
I have 8 EAP models which I managed locally with the Omada Controller software, now I bought a OC200 and want to migrate my settings.
My Omada controller locally is version 3.2.6, the version in the Oc200 is 3.2.5.
I cant upgrade the oc200 (latest firmware).
So now what?

@MathijsK, if you compare the release notes you will see that Omada SW Controller v3.2.6 corresponds to OC200 Controller v3.2.5 (yes, version numbering is somewhat irritating). I would just migrate and see whether it works.

@MathijsK, yes, you're right. OC200 doesn't accept a backup from v3.2.6. However, there was no v3.2.5 of the SW controller for Linux. It changed from v3.2.4 to v3.2.6 and therefore I can't test v3.2.5 SW controller. Could be that you can't load a backup from SW controller to the OC200 at all, could be that only sites can be migrated (controller migration doesn't work, too).
Maybe TP-Link can tell more.

I am interested in this too!
Unfortunately, availability for the OC200 controller in the US is now delayed until 20 Jul 2020 - so I am considering setting up my EAP245 APs with the controller running on a Windows machine and migrating once my OC200 arrives.
Can anyone from TP-Link advise?

Of course you can run controller on your computer temporarily. When you get OC200, you can migrate all of your settings to OC200.
OC200 already released the new software that has built-in v3.2.11 controller. And the latest controller software version for Windows is 3.2.10. It can be migrated to OC200 that has built-in v3.2.11 controller. (We can only migrate from low version to high version.)
For how to migrate, you can refer to the below FAQ link.
