Model: TL-WPA7517 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have been using my power line extender for about 3 months without any problems. It worked straight out of the box. For no obvious reason I cannot now get the power line leds (either on the adapter or the extender) to light, which obviously then prevents anything from working as it did. I have tried plugging the units in several different rooms, upstairs and downstairs. I tried removing the ethernet cable from the adapter. I even tried plugging them into the same (dual) socket next to each other. The behaviour is the same in all cases.

Disappointing as the system has been excellent till now.

Any suggestions are most welcome.

Thanks,

Zeike

Hi @Sunshine, thanks for your response. As it was quite a pressing problem, I contacted TP-Link's support. It seems my device is faulty after all and I am arranging an exchange with the retailer.

Thanks,

Zeike
