Before the Upgrade
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) For the sake of insurance, it's always recommended to save a copy of the router Backup Config file before upgrading or downgrading.
(3) You may follow the guide to upgrade the firmware of your router. How to Upgrade the Firmware on the TP-Link Wi-Fi Routers.
(4) If you still receive a new firmware update notification on the router's web interface or the Tether App after installing the beta software, it's recommended that you do not upgrade to the new firmware at this time. @Kevin_Z : I have the problem that sometimes the entire 5G network fails on the BE800, and only works again after a restart of the router. Will this beta firmware solve that problem?

Was on the PS5 last night doing some rare late online gaming when I was suddenly kicked out. Checking I had zero connection to anything, BE550 had lost internet connection and all Wi-Fi and LAN devices disconnected. Trying to use my mobile Tether app on the iPhone could not find the router. On checking the router lights all looked good and my ONT box looked OK too.
This happened as it struck midnight, I had no schedules set and was the first time I'd experienced this. Had to do a power off at the router then let it restart. Back to normal after that. Strange considering its the first time that happened and at a specific time.
Will the logs go back 9 hours? or will they be wiped after I restarted the router as I'm curious about checking something else that may have been the cause.

@David6479 that's how the fun begins. It'll then start kicking you out all the time. If you check your logs, it'll look similar to what I'm getting. Padi error.

@David6479 exactly like mine. It clears them. I connected my old router and put this as a satellite. It's so frustrating.

For me the most annoying its when main router switch alone channels etc. in random time. can be few minutes also can be few days. But only if its connected other BE550 as satellite router. With AX55 as satellite works stable or i have luck LOL
Also is annoying the 6GHz on Be protocol don't work with full speed on my WiFi Intel BE200 300Mhz card. Cut speed on 160/80mhz width from 1meter from main router LOL

@SmartTP To be honest I can't remember but I did ask in the beginning for release notes to be accompanied because it would be worthwhile knowing what has actually been looked at.
A "system stability" quote really isn't worth the paper it's printed on because it never is. A list of work is required to make our time worth it.
