Deco x60 capping WiFi at 500Mb/s
Hi :)
I have 1Gbs download and 600Mbs upload speed coming from my ISP. I have a router connected to the optical cable bridging the network to the main Deco X60.
The secondary X60 is connected via Ethernet backhaul to the main deco, and on cable I am getting ~850Mbps speeds. However, on WiFi I cannot go above 550Mbps in any case. Funny enough, upload speeds mark higher than download speeds.
The PC I am testing on has WiFi 6 with 2.4Gbps max bandwidth. I am in direct line of sight of the second Deco (~1m) and I cannot understand why I can't get higher speeds.
Disabled QoS, Decos are functioning in Router Mode, not AP. And tried pretty much everything I found on the internet as solutions to the problem. Bought the x60 as replacement to M4s, which I figured that will have higher speeds over WiFi 6, but that's not the case.
Testing the speed through the Deco App, it rates 850/600 which is kind of what I would expect. Here's the connection profile from my PC:
Protocol: Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax)
Security type: WPA2-Personal
Network band: 5 GHz
Network channel: 36
Link speed (Receive/Transmit): 1201/1201 (Mbps)
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Description: Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz
Driver version: 22.100.1.1
Please help.
