I turned off 2FA on the gmail account. Turned on allow less secure apps. Changed the password back to the regular (non-app). Used your settings. Still failed. Have the same gmail address as the username and sender address. Test email is to be sent to a different gmail address. I've pretty much given up at this point. Really do appreciate all your help.

 

One thing of note, with your setup, it takes much more time for it to error out. Still don't know where in the process it's failing.

@Netbug Hello, I created new Google account for testing. Working fine, but to gmail only. I have different email provider for Omada, unfortunately no sent email to this different provider (outlook.com)

@Netbug Have you enabled alert emails to the cloud administrator? Check in the Admin tab.

Is there any solution to this problem?  I am trying to do the same and having the same results.  No connections to gmail smtp, ... :(

@mgsporer Not that I've found yet. And as kind as support is, they haven't been very helpful with this one. I gave up.
